Early Spring In Fort Tryon Park

I recently decided to take up photography as a hobby and purchased my first DSLR camera - the Nikon D3500.

With spring in the air I hiked to Fort Tryon park in Washington Heights to take it for a test drive.

What can I say? I'm a romantic :)

And I like watches :)

The Cloisters museum in Fort Tryon is one of the best kept secrets in New York. A branch of the Metropolitan Museum of Art, it houses an amazing collection of Romanesque and Gothic works. Worth a visit!

I have no idea what this building across the Hudson is but it looks great.

If you are on a weekend day trip, New Leaf is the brunch spot The vibe and Eggs Benedict are both on point and there's outdoor seating in the warmer months.

Let me know if you like what you see and stay tuned for more. Cheers!
